Graffiti in Latinoamerica

Graffiti is art but some people differ because sometimes is use as vandalism. Im an artist and there are some things that are better told in songs; thats what graffiti artist do in their paintings.
In Colombia we can find lots of graffitis in the streets and some of this works are really impressive; the colors, the message, the design. Its a well done piece of art. In Bogota's case this paintings express opinions and reflects what this artists feels about, politics, and social.
In Argentina graffiti has become an open air art gallery in buildings this also happens in Brazil where you can find beautiful paintings all around the city; the view is something out of this world; but there are some cases like Honduras where graffiti is use to highlight whats happening in the city because this place has become one the most dangerous cities in the world.

Bangkok’s ‘Mexican’ Gangsters

When we think we have seen everything...
After watching this video we realize that cultural appropriation is just people being humans and free, meaning that no matter where we are or which culture are we born, we'll always have a say in our opinions, hobbies, music interest, clothes, etc. Thats exactly what happen in this case; they feel that dressing like mexican gangters is part of who they are as person but no as a culture.
We can learn so much about it in this video. I think it was really cool they way they had not a double life but a double identidy.

Afro Discrimination

After seen all of these videos I've notice that discrimination is not only a situation happening in our country but all over the world. Our skin does not tell us what kind of person are we, and much less determined if we are more important than others. We need to make a difference. Afrocolombians are the most important part from Colombia's history so we should start making a change. It does not matter how small it is but its a good start. We should be proud of having such a beautiful ethnicity being part our history.

Who I Am

Hi, Im Angie. I do music and stuff.
It all start when I was studing medicine at Collage and decided to chance my major to Music. Its been an interesting journey. I realized that  I have this gift of singing and I should do what I love.  On my free I love watching movies, play guitar, read, hang with my friends, spend some time with my family and write songs. Im not that typical romantic person but when it comes to write songs I show my girly romantic side.
Some people ask me about inspiration. I've been so lucky and had the oportunity to travel to wonderfull places just like Hawaii, Jamaica, Los Ángeles  and wrote so many songs about so many life experiences that I had. Even when Im in the airport, on the flight up in the air. Watching the clouds and the landscape from above inspire me so much. Is just me and my music.
